Rafiki Tembo Tours and Safaris

I was born and raised Maasai in the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu, close to the Tarangire–Manyara wilderness, where wildlife, culture, and the land were part of everyday life. From an early age, I developed a deep respect for nature, but it was the quiet strength and wisdom of Tembo the elephant that inspired the vision behind Rafiki Tembo Tours & Safaris.

After earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management in 2020, I founded Rafiki Tembo with one purpose: to share Tanzania the way we truly know it with passion, local knowledge, respect, culture, and genuine friendship.
For us, Rafiki means you are more than a client. Tembo represents wisdom, connection, strength, and care for the places we are proud to call home

Today, together with our dedicated team, we create private and tailor-made safari experiences across Tanzania and Kenya, welcoming every traveler with the same warmth we would offer a friend.
