ROMAN is committed to uncovering the origins of martial arts, combat sports, and traditional fighting techniques that are being forgotten, with the mission of restoring the true essence of martial arts in Japan.

ROMAN distinguishes itself through the following three rules,
1. R.O.M.A. Rules＝Roots Of Martial Arts Rules (a.k.a VALE TUDO)
The classic VALE TUDO rules where anything goes except for eye crushing and biting

2. ROMAN COMBAT (DŌGI MMA)
MMA rules that require wearing DOGI(Kimono/Jackets)

3. ROMAN JIUJITSU (Jūjutsu)
New Jiu-Jitsu rules lifting the ban on heel hook slamming and other prohibited techniques
