Queer Talks In Nature

Real conversations with queer, trans, and nonbinary leaders — outside, in the world, in these times.

Queer Talks in Nature (QTIN) is a conversation series where queer, trans, and nonbinary leaders sit down together — in parks, by rivers, in gardens, and woods — to talk honestly about leadership, life, nature, and what it means to do this work right now. Real conversation, unfolding as it needs to, in a time where QTNB voices and perspectives are under threat.

Hosted by Root Schermerhorn (they/them), Integral Coach and founder of Coaching with Root (coachingwithroot.com).

WHAT WE TALK ABOUT
*Leadership in collapse — What does it mean to lead when the systems around us are unraveling?
*Queerness & nature — How our identities connect us to land, ecology, and more-than-human worlds.
*Sustaining the work — Grief, rest, joy, burnout — how we stay alive in the work for the long haul.
*Who we are becoming — Growth, integration, and the shape of an authentic life in hard times.
