Professor Kate Chase Art History

Interested in learning about the history of humanity through art?
My undergrad is in World History and my master's degree is in World Art History. I'm grateful for my unique perspective of having lived in 5 different countries, travelled to about 36 (many multiple times), and thus have seen many of the monuments, architecture, and artworks that are part of the canon of art history. Discussing the uniting factors of human nature across time and the globe (as seen through art) is my passion!

In addition to personal experience and the study of art history in my undergraduate and graduate classes from other professors and articles, much of the information for this survey content is drawn from "Gardner's Art Through the Ages" and Smarthistory.org. Please view those resources for more information.
