Marcelo Fernandes is a globally recognized expert in Operational Excellence, Lean Six Sigma, and learning innovation, with more than 25 years of international experience designing and deploying continuous improvement strategies across manufacturing and service industries. He has developed a distinctive teaching style that combines Lean Six Sigma concepts with gamification and active learning methodologies in virtual, in-person, and blended environments. Marcelo holds a PhD and Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, is among the few professionals worldwide to achieve the ASQ Certified Master Black Belt credential, and was the lead author of the cover story of Quality Progress journal (February 2019). Throughout his career, he has certified more than 150,000 professionals from over 100 countries and mentored more than 500 improvement projects worldwide.
