Planning to Fail

We're a channel about low budget film making! Interviews, gear reviews, short films!

The crews are small. The budgets are tight, sometimes non-existent. The locations are convenient or stolen. The gear is what you can cobble together. And the actors are phone numbers already in your contacts list. This is indie filmmaking. It’s tough and it’s thankless. But we persist because we believe in the story. Sometimes everything goes according to plan. More often than not, it doesn’t. But that’s the magic of indie filmmaking: adapting to problems, finding creative solutions that are more interesting and more engaging than if everything had gone exactly right.

On Planning to Fail we talk to up and coming indie filmmakers about the stories they just had to tell and the challenges they faced along the way.
