Pints, Pipes & Poetry

Pipes, Pints & Poetry is a place for old stories, strange histories, good poems, and the craft of carrying them forward.

I’m Parable, a writer and poet interested in the places where literature, history, theology, culture, and imagination meet. Here we’ll talk about poetry, storytelling, the writing life, inherited traditions, Gaelic literature, myth and legend, museums, and the books and histories that refuse to leave us alone.

The aim is not to romanticize the past, but to listen carefully to what has been handed down, ask what it means, what it challenges, and where it might take us next.

Pull up a chair, bring a story, and join the conversation.

I’m Parable. This is Pipes, Pints & Poetry. I’ll see you at the table.
