PILLOLE

BEST 2022 ITALIAN ROCK BAND

Pillheads is an English term for those who obsessively take drugs without actually needing them. We raise questions without wanting to find answers. Our stories describe the contradictions between the real and virtual world, with explicit moments of social criticism and surrealism.
We are Paolo Baltaro (vocals and guitar) and Daniele Mignone (bass).. We blend Rock and Pop of multiple derivations with texts in both Italian and English, referring to the tradition of the great Italian songwriter. Virtual is also the fourth virtual member of the band, Quentin McPillhead, the man with the pill head, who occasionally appears on stage as the second guitarist in holographic format.
