Society for Pediatric Pain Medicine

Welcome to the official channel of The Society for Pediatric Pain Medicine (SPPM)!

We are an international society focused on the advancement of pain management in the pediatric population including advancement of perioperative management, in particular, the alleviation of acute and chronic pain-related conditions in children up to 21 years of age and young adults still in the transition of care to adult practice.

The SPPM educates anesthesiologists, pediatricians, other health care providers, as well as the patient, families, and the general public. The SPPM supports excellence in the provision of care by encouraging research, quality assessment and improvement, and the development of standards of care in the practice of pain medicine for children. It encourages networking and collaboration between its members.
