Paul Cherry, MS, LPC, LCDC

I offer a fresh understanding of addiction as an existential survival strategy rather than a moral failing, character defect, or shortcoming. Currently, I'm presenting my new, empowered 12 steps for liberation from addiction. These steps re-imagine the traditional 12-step model, emphasizing power over addiction without the need for an intangible higher power. I highlight the need for community, connection, and psychotherapy to help those suffering with addiction identify and heal the root causes of addiction. Together, we explore your shadow self and optimal self to help you create a life where your authentic self can emerge and flourish. My purpose is to offer support and hope for the addiction community and for people interested in therapy. My goal is liberation from addiction. I post at least 2 long form and 4 shorts per week.
