Folk stories grandparents told, with songs to sing along to. Palisade Tales is a community project that brings traditional folk tales, passed down by word of mouth for generations, to children as picture books and narrated videos. Our first stories come from the villages around Veeranam lake in Tamil Nadu. Paati, a warm and funny grandmother, tells each one. For children 4 to 9 and their families, with Tamil and English captions. We use the help of AI for the voice, the singing and the pictures.
