The People vs. Jed York

The billionaire owner of the San Francisco 49ers, Jed York has been using his wealth to take control of Santa Clara's City government to subsidize his business interests. In June 2022, 49ers CEO Al Guido negotiated a secret deal money-losing deal with FIFA to bring the World Cup to publicly-owned Levi's Stadium, without ever consulting Santa Clara's residents or their elected leaders.

Host: Brian Doyle, 33 year Santa Clara resident who served as City Attorney from February 2017 to September 2021.
