Nanotechnology Engineering Program

Synonymous with innovation and competitiveness, nanotechnology is the technology of manipulating, controlling, designing, simulating, developing, executing, and manufacturing objects, structures, devices, and systems on the scale of sizes between 1 and 100 nanometers. Applicable to a diverse range of human needs and sectors, it is the role of nanotechnology engineering to bridge the gap between basic knowledge and applied knowledge.

A pioneering program in Brazil in the field of engineering, it was created in 2013. Interdisciplinary in nature, the program offers its master's and doctoral students training in a cutting-edge area, with research activities carried out in modern laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art instruments.
