Ray Newkirk | Outside The Box Builders

Outside The Box Builders explores fire-resistant construction, resilient home design, sustainable building methods, and high-performance structures built to last for generations.

Led by builder Ray Newkirk, this channel features real-world construction projects, Faswall and ICF building systems, custom homes, creative outdoor spaces, remodels, rebuilds, and forward-thinking building approaches focused on durability, safety, comfort, and environmental responsibility.

Based on California’s Central Coast, Outside The Box Builders specializes in resilient construction for wildfire-prone environments, combining practical building science with artistic craftsmanship and decades of hands-on experience.

We believe homes should be fire-resistant, energy efficient, seismically resilient, thoughtfully designed, and built to endure.
