On the Army's Strength

On the Army’s Strength, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to researching, interpreting, and preserving the stories of the people who supported Continental forces during the American Revolution.

Through research-based living history, educational programming, workshops, and demonstrations, we explore the experiences of army followers, civilians, tradespeople, medical personnel, and others whose labor helped sustain the Continental Army.

Our channel features educational programs, recorded workshops, historical interpretation, demonstrations, and resources for historians, reenactors, educators, and anyone interested in the often-overlooked stories behind the American Revolution.

History extends far beyond the battlefield.
