Old Maine Firewood

Old Maine Firewood is where I share everything I know about heating a house with wood without paying a supplier a single dollar. My name's Hollis. I've lived and heated my home in Maine for forty years — but for most of those years, I did it the expensive way, just like everyone else.

Then an old Maine logger named Everett changed how I think about firewood for good. On this channel you'll find: free firewood sources most people never think to ask about, the real way to season and stack firewood so it actually dries, moisture meter tricks, wood stove efficiency tips, chimney and creosote safety, and honest reviews of the tools worth buying.

New videos every week — practical, no-nonsense, straight from someone who actually heats his house this way every winter.
