🐾 Welcome to GSRA – German Shepherd Rescue & Adoption!

Founded in 1992, GSRA is a non-profit volunteer organization based in North Carolina, dedicated to rescuing and rehoming German Shepherd Dogs. While our focus is on this incredible breed, we occasionally help other dogs in need, including mixes.

Most of our dogs come from local shelters or are surrendered by owners seeking a better future for their pets. We provide essential care, love, and adoption services to neglected, stray, or surrendered dogs all with the goal of giving them a second chance.

📍 We serve North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia — and only adopt to homes within these states.
