City Hearts: Kids Say YES to the Arts

Founded in 1984, City Hearts provides the highest quality Arts Education and unique Arts experiences to PK-12th grade students in Arts under-resourced areas of Los Angeles County. City Hearts partners with Title I schools with limited or no access to the Arts to provide VAPA-aligned classes in Dance, Literary Arts, Singing, Guitar & Songwriting, Acting & Theatre, Drawing & Mixed Media Arts, Photography, and 2D Design & Printmaking for students in-school and after-school. Enhancing self-esteem, creativity, social, and academic skills, City Hearts’ Literary, Visual, and Performing Arts programs strengthen the health and vitality of our students and their communities. All classes are provided at no cost to the students and their families.
