OBLIDAH - Set Design

I'm Oblidah. I'm an Art Director who designs sets in Rhino for US features and HETV shot in the UK. This channel is the whole pipeline — survey, mass, draw, print, build — taught the way it's actually done.

Eleven episodes, fifteen minutes each. Rhino as the precision tool the industry is quietly migrating to. Polycam LIDAR for location surveys. Photoshop with Gemini Nano-Banana Pro for concept frames. Claude Desktop talking to Grasshopper for parametric sets. AI-assisted Python tooling. Construction drawings that see contact with a build crew. 3D-printed vs pre-vis. Higgsfield for animated previs.

Project files, long cuts, and the asset library live on Patreon — UK mouldings, plaster profiles, Polycam scans, Grasshopper definitions, Python scripts, drawing templates. The library compounds with every episode.

For working draughtspeople, set designers, art directors, concept artists, and anyone in an art department who has outgrown SketchUp. From brief to build, the long way round.
