Numbers Not Tabs

Music theory, applied to guitar. Tabs tell you where; numbers tell you why. Every key has seven chords: number them, and the songs you love turn out to share a handful of patterns. One key per season, one song per episode, a different one-of-a-kind guitar every time. Season 1: the key of G.

If one of these makes a song finally click for you, that genuinely makes my day. Learned one? Post yourself strumming it and tag @numbersnottabs or #numbersnottabs. I want to hear it.
