Wayne Harry Johnson Jr

A film does not fail because the director lacked passion. It usually fails one unmade decision at a time.

Notes From the Director is the working director's production office for independent filmmakers. Wayne H. Johnson Jr. teaches the craft behind filmmaking decisions and the practical systems that carry a project from idea through production and delivery.

Expect director's notes, visual storytelling breakdowns, production reality, AI-assisted filmmaking systems, and honest lessons earned while making and finishing real work.

AI is infrastructure, not the auteur. The filmmaker still decides what deserves to exist.

Learn the craft. Build the system. Make the film.
