North Newton Jasper Pastorate

The North Newton Jasper Pastorate of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana comprises the parishes of St. Augusta - Lake Village, Sorrowful Mother - Wheatfield, and St. Cecila - Demotte, Indiana. 

The mission of our pastorate is to use our Catholic faith and love of neighbor to gather and develop all persons in our area to be committed disciples of Jesus Christ and to share God the Father’s care with others using the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are a people who value:
