Northern California PET Imaging Center (NCPIC)

Established in 1992, NCPIC is the nation’s first freestanding, non-university PET center. Founded by Sutter Health, Mercy, and Radiological Associates of Sacramento, we operate today as an independent non-profit dedicated imaging center advancing PET/CT imaging for patients and care teams in the areas of cancer, neurology, and research.

NCPIC helped pioneer PET imaging in the U.S. and helped shaping global technology awareness and had performed over 75,000 exams in the areas of clinical and research imaging and is experts at FDG, PSMA, Amyloid, Dotatate and research imaging. 

Our mission is simple: provide world-class molecular imaging while keeping costs low for patients and health systems.
