NewBorn Short Film Agency

NewBorn Short Film Agency is a Berlin-based festival distribution and sales agency founded in 2012.

We represent exceptional independent films, from bold, author-driven short films to fiction and documentary features, helping filmmakers reach international audiences through tailored festival strategies, distribution and sales.

With a carefully curated selection of films, we work closely with filmmakers to maximise each project’s visibility, recognition and potential. From documentary and animation to fiction and experimental cinema, we believe short films are an essential art form that deserves the same attention and respect as feature films.

Founded to amplify independent filmmakers’ voices, NewBorn celebrates 15 years of championing distinctive cinema in 2027.
