Neighbourhood Voices Society

Neighbourhood Voices Society is a community-based nonprofit in Richmond, BC dedicated to connecting people through art, storytelling, and reflection. Our mission is to transform everyday neighbourhood spaces into places of belonging, creativity, and dialogue.

Through our flagship Boards of Belonging project, we collaborate with local residents, students, and artists to design hand-painted wooden boards that share messages of reconciliation, identity, and hope. Each board carries a unique story — turning fences, parks, and public walkways into open galleries that celebrate community voices.
