Nectar and Thread

Welcome to Nectar & Thread! 🧵 I'm Walelah — retired teacher, lifelong crafter, and soon-to-be Etsy shop owner.
My name means "hummingbird" in Cherokee, and I've been making beautiful things since I was five years old, taught by my grandmothers. That's the nectar — and the thread is everything they passed down to me.
On this channel you'll find behind-the-scenes crafting, beadwork and quilting projects, jewelry making, shop prep, and the journey to my Etsy launch in January 2027. Handmade jewelry, one-of-a-kind bead art, quilted goods, and curated vintage treasures — every piece made with love.
Subscribe and come along for the journey! 💛
