Center for Information Warfare Training

Center for Information Warfare Training develops future technical cadre of the Navy’s information warfare community. We deliver Navy and joint training to students in the cryptology, information technology, electronic warfare, cyber and intelligence fields.

CIWT's four subordinate commands provide training for Navy enlisted information warfare Sailors in numerous ratings, including: Cryptologic Technician Collection (CTR), Cryptologic Technician Interpretive (CTI), Cryptologic Technician Maintenance (CTM), Cryptologic Technician Technical (CTT), Cyber Warfare Technician (CWT), Intelligence Specialist (IS), Information Systems Technician (IT), Information Systems Technician Submarines (ITS), Electronics Technician (ET) and Electronic Technician Submarines (ETS).

The schoolhouses also deliver information warfare training for the Navy's cryptologic warfare, information professional, intelligence, cyber engineer, maritime cyber warfare and foreign area officers.
