Ray of Hope People | நம்பிக்கை ஒளி

The Ray of Hope People, நம்பிக்கை ஒளி – ‘Nam-Bekai Oli’ (in Tamil), known as the Charity thereafter. The Charity was established by the Tamil Community to provide help and connect families in the UK with our kith and kin in Sri Lanka destitute after the war ended in May 2009.  

It was initially register as a ‘Not for Profit’ organisation to provide much needed urgent help to individuals and families affected by the war and receiving no help from the outside world at the time. Following this work, there was a great demand for our charitable work to continue and to be a connecting organisation between our communities around the world. 

This organisation was registered as a charity with the Charity Commission in England and Wales since the 27th February 2012. As a charity, it has evolved since its formation and continues to support individuals and families in need in Sri Lanka and India.
