N.Y.K. Prep-History

Welcome to N.Y.K Prep-History, where we bridge Civil War history with modern preparedness.

Here, history meets survival. We dive into prepping, disasters, and forgotten survival tricks from the Civil War to the Wild West. Funny, practical, and occasionally ridiculous.

Our mission is to provide practical, non-sensational advice on emergency preparedness, inspired by the resourcefulness and resilience of the past.

We believe that being prepared doesn’t have to be overwhelming – it's about taking small, actionable steps to ensure the safety and well-being of yourself and your loved ones.

If you like prepping, living off grid or how people survived before smartphones, you're in the right place. We dig into stories from the past and connect them to survival today. Sometimes funny. Sometimes serious. Always useful.
