NUM Methods Hub - Epidemiology Core Unit

The NUM Methods Hub (Epidemiology Core Unit – ECU) provides all NUM research infrastructures (NUM-FIS) with low-threshold access to methodological consultations throughout the entire project lifecycle, from study planning and conduct to data analysis and the secondary use of data.

The ECU consists of an interdisciplinary team of experts from the fields of epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, clinical medicine, psychology, and informatics. These experts are distributed across nine sites in Germany and are coordinated by the Institute for Medical Data Science (ImDS) at the University Hospital Würzburg.

Within the ECU, six areas of expertise are represented: clinical epidemiology, genetic epidemiology, clinical data science (CDS), real-world data use (eVeDa), patient-reported outcomes (PROs), and paediatric cohorts.
