Myths and Legends at Bedtime

Calm bedtime tales, retold for children and read slowly in a soft, gentle voice.

This channel is dedicated to publishing myths and legends from all over the world, for all young minds aged 3 to 12. It aims to develop their imagination, literacy, general knowledge and understanding of world culture through listening to tales best told at bedtime, a time when reality and fantasy blend together, opening an infinite window onto their future.

Our storyteller, Andreas Kalos, begins with the myths of Greece: Hypnos, the gentle god of sleep, and the 12 Labours of Hercules, one adventure each night. The tales follow the real myths, told in simple, kind words.

• Hypnos and other gentle tales: ages 3–5
• The Labours of Hercules: ages 5–8

These are our own retellings, narrated with an AI voice and illustrated with AI-assisted pixel art.
