Moving I-4 Forward: I-4 Express to U.S. 27

The Moving I-4 Forward Program is a series of projects under Governor Ron DeSantis’ visionary Moving Florida Forward Infrastructure Initiative. This program is dedicated to enhancing safety and efficiency on I-4 from west of U.S. 27 in Polk County to east of S.R. 536 in Orange County. Identified as areas of urgent need on one of Central Florida’s most traveled corridors, Moving I-4 Forward will improve mobility and safety with congestion relief lanes, extended express lanes, and enhanced interchanges and bridges. This collaborative and innovative program will boost roadway resiliency by using a robust supply chain, a dynamic workforce, and the latest technology.
