My Basement Lab

Test and design engineering from a basement lab. Boards, test rigs, EMC, and
the software I write to do it.

This channel is the bench. Expect:

• Boards being designed, made and measured — from netlist to Gerbers to the
  first power-up
• Test rigs and fixtures, including the ones that do not work the first time
• EMC pre-compliance on a home bench instead of a rented chamber
• The applications I build to do this work: test coverage analysis, EMC and
validation planning, an oscilloscope that will plot anything that sends
numbers, a PLC and HMI for boards that are not PLCs
• Live instrument data landing in Excel, because that is where the math
  already lives

No sponsorships, no affiliate links, no twenty-minute videos about a five-minute
problem. If something failed, the video says so and shows the measurement.
