Qualifications: 
Over 25 years of teaching experience:
Having taught piano, music theory, and music appreciation to students of all ages and levels, in both private and group settings.
Head of Piano Studies, BTWHSPVA, the legendary arts magnet school for Dallas ISD.
AP Reader (grader of the AP Music Theory test)
Ph.D. in music theory with a related field in musicology from UNT, a tier 1 institution
M.M. in music theory and M.M. in piano performance and pedagogy from SMU
K-12 certified music teacher with experience teaching at all levels
