Morning Painter with Britt

Join me in the studio as I draw, paint, experiment, and share what I’ve learned from a lifetime of making art.

On this channel, I take you through the process of creating a piece—from the first marks to the final touches that bring it together. Along the way, I share practical lessons on drawing, painting, color, composition, materials, portraiture, and working from observation.

Some videos are focused lessons and demonstrations. Others bring you into the studio to see a painting develop, including the challenges, changes, and decisions that happen along the way.

My goal isn’t to give you a formula for making art, but to help you see more clearly, make stronger decisions, and develop the skills to find your own way of working.

Whether you’re learning to draw and paint, looking for inspiration, or simply enjoy watching art being made, I hope you’ll find something here that makes you want to get back to your own work.
