Mishap & Amethyst Hikes

The adventures of a husband (Mishap) and a wife (Amethyst) as they explore the country via hiking, backpacking, and truck camping.
Mishap & Amethyst hiked half of the Bartram Trail in 2020 and completed it in 2021, completed a full hike of the Tuscarora Trail in 2021, and then attempted a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail in 2022. Amethyst suffered a foot injury in Vermont and had to get off trail, choosing to trail support Mishap from their truck while he continued his hike. After multiple recurrences of cellulitis, Mishap was also forced to get off trail just over 300 miles from finishing the trail. After an extended recovery, they're healing and finding their way back on the trails and videoing their adventures as they explore the country and prepare for the next big hike.
