Minus40 Refrigeration

Minus40 is a specialist refrigeration manufacturer, engineering robust cold chain solutions made in Africa for African conditions since 1975.

We design and manufacture reliable refrigeration systems for healthcare, pharmaceutical, laboratory, veterinary, agricultural, industrial and specialist applications, including vaccine storage, blood banks, pharmacies, mortuaries and locomotives.

Every unit is locally manufactured, quality-tested before despatch, and designed to perform in the demanding realities of African infrastructure, power instability and climate.

What sets Minus40 apart is our partnership approach. Our engineers, technicians and service teams work closely with customers and distributors to deliver dependable performance, long-term serviceability and expert support.

We don’t just manufacture refrigeration—we help protect medicines, vaccines, research and other temperature-critical assets where reliability matters most.
