Steven Miller - Florida Keys Coral Reefs

1995 Keyswide Coral Reef Expedition to the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (FKNMS). We visited twenty reefs, using nitrox scuba diving to depths of approximately 20 meters, to assess the condition of hard corals and other benthic organisms and to establish baselines for future studies. Participants included scientists from multiple universities and government agencies. UNC-Wilmington and its National Undersea Research Center provided logistical support along with the University of South Florida. NOAA and the FKNMS provided funding. Drs. Steven Miller (UNCW) and John Ogden (USF) were the lead scientists. 
Additional material that I will add over the next week or two includes GPS numbers for all the reef sites. I will also add a list of participants.
