Milla Rivers

Hi love, Milla Rivers here…

I make music from the things I feel deeply and the things I notice in other people — late-night thoughts, kisses that stay too long in your memory, grief carried in silence, and desire you don’t always want to explain.

I’m from Nigeria, and a lot of who I am comes from paying attention: to people, silence, love, survival, and the way emotion can sit in a room after nobody is speaking anymore. I grew up around strong women, music, literature, faith, longing, and all the complicated feelings that make a person human.

Before music, writing was how I understood myself. Every song is personal to me, from the writing to the production, because the emotions behind them are real.

My sound lives somewhere between smoky R&B, alt-soul, dark pop, blues, and whatever the mood demands.

My name, Rivers, means depth, movement, and emotions that overflow without running out.

I hope when you listen, something in you feels seen.

Stay close,
Milla Rivers
