Miles In America - Waiting for What?

I bought a simple minivan and started traveling the U.S. alone. No hotels. No gyms. No plans.
When I started, I had no idea why. I figured I was trying to escape something or run away... maybe from myself.
For 10 years, neglecting myself was my favorite distraction. But out on the road, my only responsibility was making sure I was safe and happy.
Turns out, I wasn't running away from myself—I was running to myself.
The open road has helped me reconnect with the person I'd neglected for years.
