Mikes DMD Shaving Cream Challenge💚

Hi, I'm Mike Riley from MA and I have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). On my channel, you will see videos about DMD as well as my fun shaving cream challenge!

Duchenne Muscular Dystrophhy is a genetic neuromuscular illness that causes your muscles to get weaker over time. Signs include trouble walking, running, and climbing, weak hip and shoulder muscles, big calves, a waddling walk, and a curved spine. It affects 1 in 3,000-6,000 boys born in the US. People with DMD will lose the use of their arms and legs, have trouble breathing/swallowing, and need a wheelchair. Life expectancy is about 22-45 years. There's is no cure.

I created a fun and inclusive challenge to raise awareness of DMD. All you have to do is put your bare feet into shaving cream and post your video on Youtube. You can also donate to the JETT Foundation or do both. Then challenge 3 friends to do the same in 3 days. Please sit when doing it, because it's a little slippery.
