Mental Health Goes to School

Hi! We're here to talk about mental health in the classroom.
Jo-Ann and Candida met on the first day of college orientation and have been friends ever since. Many conversations and life experiences later, we realized that we were both working in the eye of the storm of mental health problems in adolescents – but coming from our two different vantage points – education and psychiatry.  It’s clear to both of us that schools and educational systems will be essential in tackling the youth mental health crisis. We decided we needed to bring more people into this conversation.

Our podcast will bring experts from across the realms of education and mental health into this discussion. We hope these conversations will generate more awareness of the knowledge and skills gaps between mental health and education, and will create a space for building solutions to these high stakes problems.
