Memorize God’s Word at 59

I fell in love with memorizing the Bible when I was 23. For 15 years it was an exciting, productive part of my life. The last 20 years, the commitment, joy, and results steadily dropped, as I increasingly convinced myself I was too old to meaningfully memorize. Today, August 1st, 2023, at age 58, I am committing myself to daily memorizing God’s Word and leaving the results in God’s All-Powerful and All-Loving hands. I pray that my journey will encourage and inspire you to also memorize and treasure God’s Word!
