Meals on Wheels of Ocean County

The mission of Meals on Wheels of Ocean County is to enable the senior residents of Ocean County to maintain the highest level of independence while living in their own homes by providing nutrition and social services. Since its inception in April 1973, the organization (then known as Senior Adult Services), has been committed to promoting healthy aging through the provision of nutrition and social support services among the elderly who are at greater risk due to social isolation, economic disadvantage, minority status, and/or who are homebound or require assistance with the basic functions of daily living.

Meals on Wheels of Ocean County is driven by a passionate belief that senior citizens deserve to lead happy, healthy and above all, meaningful lives. For nearly fifty years of experience, we know the best way to accomplish this: By doing everything we can to keep them in the environment where they’re most comfortable—at home.
