Maremma Sheepdog Club of America

The Maremma Sheepdog Club of America was founded on August 15, 1988, and is the national breed club of the Maremma Sheepdog.

The purpose of the MSCA is to encourage and promote soundness in the breeding of purebred Maremma Sheepdogs and to do all possible to bring the Maremma’s natural qualities to perfection by urging members and breeders to accept the Standard of the Breed as approved by the MSCA.

The MSCA is dedicated to do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed as a working livestock guardian dog, and to preserve the natural instinct and qualities developed over thousands of years.

The Maremma Sheepdog Club of America, Inc is the only national registry organization of purebred Maremmas in North America and has established and maintained breeding records and bloodlines.
