We're Sara and Stephen and this is our working château in the Dordogne. Where a lot of château channels document renovations, we show what happens after: a château in service, doing what it was built to do.

Our doors are open. Art retreats and creative workshops, guests, village events, expositions and celebrations. The space keeps evolving, and every change brings the château further back into service to its community.

The renovation carries on, but with a different purpose, not to rescue the place but to make it better at what it already does.

This is château life the DIY restoration channels are working toward. Not a project, but a living part of the community. You'll see the retreats and the people who find their creativity here, the real work of keeping a centuries-old building in service, and French culture as we live it.

The perfect pairing of creative journeys and bespoke château experiences.
