Mankind - The Science of Understanding Humans

I am an evolutionary biologist (and Professor Emeritus at University of Oslo) who specialize in understanding how evolution put together our brain; that is, what sort of functions it added. The idea is to present various features - for example love, hate, jealousy, and falling in love - and explain why they are there, how they impact on the human mind, and what we know about their neurology. I believe it is important to understand what we are, and that the evolutionary perspective can help. I want to add videos of 5-15 min that describe various aspects of being human. The idea is to eventually finish a book that presents mankind in a more comprehensive and informative way. The videos are meant to make select topics come to life. I have already published a lot of scientific articles and books on the human mind, most of them are linked to from my homepage grinde.one.
