Making Black History Today with Liz & Porter

Making Black History Today is an award-winning Dallas-based Black interview podcast and digital archive of Dallas’s current history-makers.

We are more than a podcast; we document Black history as it happens through in-depth interview conversations with CEOs, chairpersons, entrepreneurs, educators, creatives, and culture-shapers driving impact across the city and beyond.

Each episode preserves real stories, lessons, and lived experiences that reflect Black leadership, legacy, entrepreneurship, and cultural influence in real time.

Hosted by Liz & Porter, this platform exists to capture and archive the voices shaping Black history today, not waiting for it to be written later.
