Maiman Studio

Maiman Studio is a free, open-source simulator for optical communication links and photonic systems.

On this channel: short tutorials that build a link on screen, press Run, and explain what the instruments show. Eye diagrams, BER and Q, OSNR, spectra, constellations, from a single laser on a power meter to WDM, coherent 16-QAM, photonic circuits and fiber sensing.

Every number in these videos comes from the simulator's physics engine, and every physics block is checked against a closed-form result. Nothing is drawn by hand.
