Mahwari Justice

Mahwari Justice is a period rights organization dedicated to ending menstrual stigma and period poverty. Founded in 2022, we began by providing relief to over 150,000 flood-affected menstruators, at a time when their needs were often overlooked. Since then, we have expanded our work to tackle the wider period taboo through education, advocacy, and improved access to menstrual health resources. Today, we work with schools, communities, and policy makers across Pakistan to ensure menstrual health is recognized as a matter of dignity and rights.

Our aim is to eliminate period poverty, achieve menstrual equity and ensure menstruation is treated like a healthy and normal bodily process. We are working to achieve this by giving people the tools, knowledge, and resources to manage their periods with dignity and break the silence that surrounds menstruation through art and open conversations.
